‘Teka Slogan Dan Menang’ Contest

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.0 Organizer:

1.1 The Raw International Sdn. Bhd. (“The Raw”) will be organizing the ‘Teka Slogan dan Menang’ contest (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”).

1.2 The following terms and conditions apply in respect of the Contest. By participating in the Contest, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein, including any terms that may have been amended from time to time, without limitation or qualification.

2.0 Eligibility:

2.1 The Contest is open to the public. Participants must answer the questions correctly to qualify to win for the prizes by scanning the QR code provided on the screen or directly visiting The Raw official website: www.theraw.com.my ; and shall be hereinafter referred to as “Participant” or “Participants”.

The following persons are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the Contest:

(a) Permanent or contract employees of the The Raw of Companies, including the Organiser and their immediate family members (including fathers, stepfathers, mothers, stepmothers, siblings, spouses, children, stepchildren and adoptive relationships);

(b) Employees of third-party service providers of the Organiser, their permanent and/or contract employees, and their immediate family members (including fathers, stepfathers, mothers, stepmothers, siblings, spouses, children, stepchildren, and adoptive relationships).

2.3 In the event a Participant is found to be ineligible at any point of time during or after the Contest Period as stated below, The Raw reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify the said Participant and to cancel, withdraw and/or to recall any prizes awarded to the said Participant. In the event where the said Participant has benefitted from the prize, the said Participant agrees and undertakes to reimburse The Raw for the costs relating to the prize, otherwise The Raw reserves its right to initiate any legal action against the said Participant, where necessary.

3.0 Contest Prizes:

3.1 15 winners x RM200 cash prize

4.0 Contest Period:

4.1 The Contest will start from 9.00pm, 11 August 2024 until 11.59pm, 11 August 2024 (3 hours) (“Contest Period”), both times inclusive. Any updates or changes will be communicated by The Raw on their ‘The Raw' social media platforms and the official The Raw’s website.

5.0 Contest Mechanics:

5.1 Participants are required to answer the questions correctly, fill in all the necessary information (full name per NRIC, valid mobile number, valid email address), and agree to all the contest terms and conditions.

5.2 Winners with the correct answers will be selected randomly through a computerized system managed by the Organizer.

6.0 Miscellaneous:

6.1 The winners will be announced via The Raw official TikTok page @theraw.official on 12pm; 12 August 2024.

6.2 Participants are required to ensure the information shared during the submission are correct and under their own name. Participants who do not meet these requirements will be disqualified and will not be eligible to be in the running for the Contest Prizes.

6.3 Each Participant will only be entitled to win one (1) prize throughout the contest period.

6.4 Prizes will be fulfilled within 60 working days after the winner announcement has been made.

6.5 For cash prize fulfillment, it will be done via bank transfer directly to the winners’ bank account (subject to the winner providing their bank account details within the period as prescribed by the Organiser) upon notification of winners on The Raw’s official TikTok page.

6.6 The winners will be contacted ONLY via office phone call number (017-8764932), or the official email registered under The Raw by the marketing team for verification to qualify for their prizes.

6.7 In the event that The Raw opts to contact the potential winner(s) by phone and is unable to get through to the potential winner(s) due to any reason whatsoever such as the call being out of coverage, unanswered or out of service, The Raw will then make another three (3) attempts to contact the potential winner(s) within four (4) hours. Where such attempts are unsuccessful, The Raw hereby reserves the right to select the next potential winner where the same process of selecting the winner will be repeated until a winner is identified.

6.8 By entering or participating in the Contest, Participants hereby fully and unconditionally agree and accept all the terms and conditions herein contained and agree that the decisions of The Raw regarding the Contest and all matters relating to or in connection thereto are final and binding and no such queries, appeals or correspondences will be entertained.

6.9 The Raw reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice, to substitute any of the prizes with other items of similar or higher value.

6.10 The Raw reserves the right to choose the specifications of the prizes and The Raw decision on this matter is final.

6.11 Non-compliance by the Participants and/or winners with any of the terms and conditions herein contained shall entitle The Raw to disqualify any entry and/or revoke any prizes awarded.

6.12 The Raw reserves the right to cancel, shorten, extend, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time prior to the expiry of the Contest Period without prior notice to Participants. For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, extension, suspension, or termination of the Contest at any time prior to the expiry of the Contest Period shall not entitle the Participants to claim any compensation from The Raw for all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Participants as a result of the said cancellation, extension, suspension, or termination. The Raw also reserves the right to amend, modify, delete, or change any of the terms and conditions herein contained at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice. Continued participation in the Contest following any such changes and/or amendments shall constitute the Participant(s) unconditional acknowledgment, understanding, agreement and acceptance of such changes in respect of the Terms and conditions

6.13 The Raw reserves the right to use the names, addresses, photographs, information, and documents of the Participants and/or winners as materials in advertisements and other form of publicity for the current and future marketing purposes from time to time without prior notice to the Participants and/or winners and the Participants and winners shall not claim ownership of the material. Participation of the Participants in the Contest constitutes their consent to such use, without further notice, payment, or consideration.

6.14 The winner shall participate in attendance of all marketing and promotional activities whenever required. The activities may include but are not limited to Media Conferences, Prize Giving Ceremonies, Interviews, Roadshow, Tours, and Marketing events, not exceeding 3 appearances if available.

6.15 The Raw shall not be held responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or personal injury or loss of life by the Participants, winners and/or any party resulting from or arising out of or in connection with this Contest or the Prizes given under this Contest.

6.16 These terms and conditions prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any brochure or other promotional materials advertised under this Contest.

6.17 The Raw is the final authority to decide on the interpretation of these terms and conditions and as to any other matters relating to this Contest.

7.0 Personal Data

7.1 By participating in the Contest, participants are deemed to have agreed and consented to the collection, processing, use, disclosure, and retention by The Raw of their personal data in the manner as set out in the Personal Data Notice given pursuant to Section 7 of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010, which can be viewed at www.theraw.com.my.
